For several weeks now her posts have done nothing but insult christianity. Yet she puts herself off like a pagan. She gives us respectable pagans a bad light. I respect others and their choice of religion, I don't push mine and I will gladly ask that you don't push yours onto me. The Creator loves EVERYONE regardless of religion, race, or sexual orientation. Do you think she needs some enlightenment?

I am a practicing and initiated witch for 6 years now, and I have never seen such hate in a "pagan".

I won't bash a fellow Pagan, but I agree that we should rise above, not rise against. Why should we lower ourselves to petty insults and bashing? If we are angry or hurt because others have attacked us, we should not seek to become that which has caused us pain. To carry that negativity around with us is far more harmful than to walk away and leave it at its source.

I think the answer is pretty simple. Kero has some deep disdain for christianity. Whether it be a deep inner religous turmoil or being molested by a priest or having abusive christain parents or any number of reasons. Many people turn to Paganism or other alternative religions not because they feel a truth to them but allmost out of protest of christianity or their previous belief. Kero probably claims to be a pagan for the sole reason that she feels it is as far from being a christian as is humanly possible as opposed to actually believing in pegan tenants.

There seem to be several names belonging to young pagans and which seem very hostile to Christianity. Maybe it is a phase teens go through.

My guess is that a Christian hurt her deeply. Most anger comes from pain or sadness.

Even so, I don't think she needs to be bashed for her views. Maybe she just needs kindness.

There are many people bashing many different beliefs on this site. Someday perhaps, they will come to realize it is like a dog chasing it's own tail - it gets you no where.

Blessed Be.
