Please don't worry about your weight so much. You're still growing, and a crash diet could ruin your metabolism. Just try to drink 8 glasses of water a day, never skip a healthy breakfast, and cut back to one or no pops a day. Try to go for a walk with family after dinner!

Lu Lu you got a problem. I am 5' 4" and I weighed 130 and I was to fat. I got a calorie counter at Wal Mart for 1.dollar and counted calories. No sugar, salt, cafine or bread. Eat fruit veggies and meat. Bake a whole chicken for an hour and eat the whole thing you will lose weight. When you get to 1200 calories don't eat nothing else. In 6 months. I was down to 119 where I stay.
People says :"Have a piece of cake, I say no man." Guys don;'t like fat chicks. You know that. I was 15 and I did it. Your parents will protest and not help you but hay it is your body.
I'm 16 now and never eat junk, cleared up my pimples to.
I take fruit, cheese or 80 cal yogurt for lunch. Eat lots of baked or BBQed meat. They were afraid i was dying and thats all I would eat so they BBQed everything. Do It or life in high school will be a walk through hell.

My favorite: THE HARRY POTTER SERIES by J.K. Rowling An inspiring work: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephan Chbosky A childish fantasy that's also really gripping: The Lightning Theif (even though the movie sucked) by Rick Riordan A Romance: The Twilight Saga (I know what they say about it but I actually kind of loved it) by Stephanie Meyer A wonderfully terrifying dystopian fiction: Feed by M.T. Anderson Or a sad and haunting love story: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green Hope you like these they're my favorites besides Divergent and the Hunger Games

160 is outside the range of a healthy body-mass-index. Normal is something like 110- 125lbs. or around there. At 15, though, I'd say it's transition. If I were you, I'd just look into my diet and my level of physical activity. It never hurts to make sure you have good habits and establishing them at a young age is important. If you are overweight (which I hate to use that word with anyone under 30) establishing good eating and exercising habits will take care of it for you.

Yes, I know b/c I'm 5'3. Our ideal weight is about 140-145. And that's for an adult, so I'm sure hers is less. Just be sure to start her early on a healthy lifestyle of exercising and watching what she eats.

5'3 should weigh between 110 (small frame) to 130 (large frame)

I agree with the poster, lay off the junk and just eat a little healthier, lucky for you, you're still young enough that your metabolism will burn anything extra right off when you start eating healthy.

It does seem a little heavy, but it isn't that big of a deal. If it worries you, stop drinking soda, don't eat so much fast food and start running!

According to BMI calculations, you are overweight. This simply means you have a little too much weight, but you're not obese.
