On 26 March 2006 an article was posted on Wikipedia regarding a towable pod house for a bicycle designed by Merrill Ballantyne called a bike pod.

Details at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bike_pod

The link for more information does not work (at least it hasn't for me). The username of the person who originally posted the information is no longer valid on Wikipedia.

I have searched http://www.dogpile.com/ with the phrases:
Merrill Ballantyne
bike pod
bike trailer
bike camper
pod house

I have located lots of interesting information but nothing relevant to the Wikipedia article.

Does anyone have any additional information on this?

What makes Dogpile special?

Dogpile was built to give users the best search results available on the Web. This is accomplished by searching all the most popular engines and retrieving the best combined results.

The inspiration for Dogpile came when its founders noticed that different search engines often return different results for the very same term. The more engines they searched the more results they found.

Following this discovery, the founders set out to create a way to bring the Web's best search engines together in one place to deliver more comprehensive and relevant results.

To capture this idea, the founders borrowed a sports term used to describe players piling on top of one another in the celebration and the Dogpile search engine was born!

Hi scott. Thanks for responding. It is my intention to build my own but I was hoping to see what had already been done so as not to re-invent the wheel, so to speak.

Yeah I remember seeing this a while back.

It's a one-off custom, and there have been other ideas like that, also one-off customs. If you want one, fastest way is to build your own.

Me, I'm happy with a tent or a Hennessey Hammock.
