Go to support.dell.com and download whatever freeware you need. Dell has a pretty good online support system for utilities. But if you're talking about 3rd party software (like Microsoft Word, Norton Antivirus, Open Office, Java, or any of the millions of software programs out there) you'd have to contact that particular provider. Dell won't help you on that.

Just had another thought. Try www.cnet.com and take a look at their extensive software and utilities section. A lot of their stuff is freeware and you can usually read the comments from real people if the products work.
