The best thing to do would be to go to the doctors and get checked out. All girls have a strong smell in their private areas anyways, but it's better to be safe than sorry

One of the most common causes of vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis (BV), a type of vaginitis. BV results from an overgrowth of one or several organisms that are normally present in your vagina. As certain organisms multiply, they produce chemicals that cause a fish-like odor characteristic of BV. The odor may be more obvious after sexual intercourse. Repetitive douching disrupts the normal organisms that live in the vagina and can actually increase the risk of vaginal infection.
Signs and symptoms of BV may also include grayish-white discharge and vaginal itching or irritation. BV isn't serious, although it may cause preterm labor in pregnant women. Treatment typically is with prescription medications, usually antibiotics.

yes or it could be a yeast infection if it is itchy. also it could be an std. go to the doctor because if its an std it could lead to infertility later in life. i know its embarrassing but doctors dont care because that is what they are there for. if she doesnt want to tell her parents or have them find out have her go to a planned parenthood site. plannedparenthood.com

Your girlfriend should see a doctor it could be some type of infections i would advise her to do that.

it could be, or it could be sweaty, or that time of the month... a slight must smell is okay, you don't want it really musty or fishy...
