They are both equal depending on your approach and comprehension. Scientifically, every thing is based on cause and effect, thus matter is not eternal nor perfect b/c it must have a beginning. If it was perfect/eternal, then it would not change but it does. Thus an Originator is required into the equation of existence. I just added this 2nd part b/c I thought it may be interesting for you.

The notion of God, although its easier for a child to believe, not as one grows up...bcos if we reason then there are many explainations against God, except for the fact that we r alive n we die, n the ques. abt what happens to us whn we die, or how the world came to be, n if there was a big-bang, what made that happen, its so vague and not easy to comprehend at all.

Probably it is more difficult to believe in something you can't tangibly experience than to comprehend the definition of a point.

I'm gonna pull out the both answer on this one, but really I can define a point, God on the other had is either undefinable or has to many definitions.

By 'point' I presume you mean the point of infinite density from which the universe came into being. Yes, this theory has far more credence than the man-made God that was created only a relatively short time ago.

God is incomprehendable since (supposedly) he is so powerful we can't understand Him. Which is a fancy way of saying "we don't want to answer questions that arise from all the 'evil' things God does, so we'll say we just can't understand Him"

of course the notion of "God" is more difficult to believe because if it wasn't we wouldn't need faith.

Neither is hard to comprehend. But people don't agree with you won't concede to your point.

God cannot be defined because he's so beyond our understanding, AND he loves us - how cool is that?
