i have brown hair almost all my life i want to go lighter what would last on me and be that color.

Ok, you need highlights and lots of them. Go to the salon and ask them to do a lot of free hand highlights. Get a goldish color to bring out your skin tone! That would look ah-mazing! Go for it! And be proud to have brown hair!!! I AM! LOL

umm.... if u have golden tanned skin a blond would look great- it would give u the surfer chic look.dont make the blond like platnum-try and make it sun kissed-very natural dont make it look fake and dyed. or like the others said highlites would look wonder ful(if u r going to do this then get lots of LITTLE[like 1 cen.] blond and carmel highlites)
o yeah and luv ur natural color is the most important!dying ur hair can make it fall out!

I Have the very same coloring. Try darker shade of red. I have Nutrisse Garnier Dark burgundy color on and it looks great on me. At first, it looked black, but even then, it looked good.
