Does Pro-active really work?

Yep I use it, well I use the facial scrub I don't use any of the other products. They didn't do much for me. My two children used and when they were consistent it worked. You break out more at first then it goes away. It is kind of expensive so I get mine off of E-bay. I only buy what I need. Make sure you know the expiration dates, and the size of the bottles. You can also get it in a lot malls they usually have a little booth in the center of the mall. Good luck.

My mom bought it for me last year due to my almost-daily complaints of acne. I was 24 and have had bad, cystic acne since age 12. I have tried Retin-A (resulted in sun poisoning and skin peeling), erithromycin (antiobiotic for 2 years with no help), along with a whole slue of other OTC creams/ointments that were supposed to help. Nothing did. My biggest fear with Proactive was my face burning/peeling--I hate that!

Boy was I relieved when I actually tried the product!! It doesn't burn one bit. In fact, the lotion (part of the three-part system) was rather soothing to my face. Within a few weeks, 90% of my acne had cleared up. I chalked it up to coincidence and didn't buy anymore Proactive when I ran out. It took me less than two weeks to start breaking out again. I went back on it. The greatest thing about Proactive is that it doesn't interfere with your everyday life. I live at the beach and have had no problem with sun sensitivity using the product. The only slight problem I did find was that the "toner" caused my skin to be so tight that it formed tiny wrinkles all over my face. All I did to correct this was use the toner once a week, rather than daily.

I highly recommend Proactive to anyone who has had to suffer through the trials and tribulations of acne. Good luck!

Yes, it really does work. My little brother had A LOT of pimples and bought Proactiv and it cleared all of them. Now his face is clear.

I've heard it does, but, a friend of mine tried the mask and her face turned red and was swollen for almost a week from one application.

Absolutely. I went from LOTS of zits to NONE in less than a week. I use it religiously and it never fails me. USE IT BECAUSE IT WORKS WONDERFULLY I PROMISE YOU!!!!!! My face doesn't have any scars or zits or anything...it looks like I don't have acne at all!!!
