87 Octane. Up to 20 percent ethanol fuel only.
Higher octane will work but really will not gain you much for the money paid at the pump.
More then 20 percent Ethanol will result in fuel pump failure and eventual leaks in fuel system due to incompatibilities with the rubber and high alcohol content.

87 octane is used in a 2001 Town Car Cartier. I think it'd be used in a 2005. Of course, they'll always tell you that premium might be recommended but you don't have to use it.

Premium. Never use regular gas on a expensive luxury car because it can put harm to your engine. Why buy an expensive car if you can't put good gas in it.
