I believe in God in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. No one is all knowing like God. But any child of God can pray and ask for wisdom, without doubting, and get some pretty good answers. My God is the "Know it all". If God reveals something to someone, He or She knows something.

The only thing that I can say here is that intelligence comes from within. What I believe has alot of what words I use. If I can reinforce my point with big words that confuse my lesser adversaries then so be it. Alot of smart and intelligent people still believe in God. But most of them are smart as a rock and believe that thier reflection is someone else. You're either realistic or spiritualistic. But the vocabulary that you use it what seperates you from Bubba and the Clampets! And in your defense I would imagine that there is only one god. And every religion has to fight and argue about which one it is. Fact is that God is God. no matter what fancy words you use to describe it. We are all children of god. Jesus was an ordinary man. Only difference is that he was of a more pure soul than that of his breathren. If my words offend you then I would reccomend a dictionary. If my words don't ring true, then go read the bible and bring your dictionary for help. Don't chastise over vanity. And yes I already know that I'm a sinner. And I will probably suffer greatly before I accept blah blah blah,...... and I know that when it comes time we will all be praying for salvation.

Maybe they just have a well-developed vocabulary and aren't acting like they are anything more than just themselves saved by the grace of God, and maybe because they are educated seems belittling to you has been years of long, hard work and study for them, and if their comments seem superior to you, maybe it's really a simple comment to them, did you ever think that just because we're all human, we're not all educationally on the same level? and I believe in God the Father, only one and that Jesus Christ is his only begotten Son, and that once we have freely accepted His son as our Savior, we are filled or indwelled (which is usually the word I use) with God the Holy Spirit - and the three references of God are what make up the trinity - but still one God - just as I am a woman, wife, and mother - but still just one person. You seem so angry, why? Religious christians can come across in many ways, but as a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, we should always come across as truthful and honest. It doesn't mean we'll always be understood, just as Jesus wasn't always understood, because many times he said let those who have ears to hear, hear. What he meant is that sometimes it takes spiritual hearing and not physical hearing to understand what is being said. Lord, this one seems so angry and I'm sorry that confusion, or having been personally belittled for questions has left this feeling so and I pray that you will give spiritual hearing to the answer I've given. We're just humans with spiritual levels of education just like human levels of education and some do show off, but Lord, when we let you speak through us to the one who has ask, then you'll give us the words to answer that that one may understand. In your name I pray. Amen.

I do not try to "slang" my way through life- most of the literature I read is not the comic book variety (although I do enjoy some comic strips.) Therefore I do tend to use words and phrases that I am most familiar with. I have no intention of belittling anyone- you don't need big words for that at all! Check out the thread of "heathens- family tree... guess what..." and you will find a plethora of insults that use no big words whatsoever. I have studied the Bible (several versions) and educated commentaries by theologians and the like and they also use "big words" I believe God and His Word 100%. Jesus is my Savior. I do not believe that I am disgracing Him in the manner that I write. I am guilty of using big words and I believe God is not offended- using just little words to me is like getting a plate of just one thing at a buffet. There are so many delicious words out there... why limit yourself to just a few?

You don't like people using big words yet write "his only begotton son" ?
Go out on the street and ask people what "begotten" (I presume you meant begotten) means and without a context 90% will NOT know.
No, I don't believe in god . Jesus - I think he was a nice man who lived a long time ago - but he wasn't god or god's son.

I don't think that's the case... granted I've used some rather large words at times, but nothing like "sequicentennial" or "septugeneurian" or "deoxyribonucleic acid"
We're not trying to belittle anyone, but as an adult I usually think that I am corresponding with an adult, and I think others do the same.
If you don't understand a word--ask! Or look it up in the dictionary. We're not using any words that aren't generally known without defining them.

Perhaps the person answering the question is not trying to belittle or offend, but to help. It maybe the person receiving the answer is finding offense where the offender meant not to offend. Why ask a question when you don't want and answer. Asking a question shows that you feel that the one to answer is superior, that's why you asked. I guess a simple way of putting it for the inquisitor is " you asked for it."

It's one thing to talk about your religion and pronounce your faith, but it is an whole different matter when people go into threads about other religions not having to do with their own and try and claim their god better than others. ChristianGirl and many other Christians are guilty of that on here.
