Most guys won't "expect" it but they're definately hoping for it.

While too much alcohol can ruin sex, a little can be just the right amount. So asking him up for a drink might the fires going. Now, 97 percent of the guys won't pounce on you and rip your clothes off, but some might try to be a little persistant. So do you invite a guy up or not? Depends on how confident you feel you can keep it in check. If you get the feeling the guy is going to be persistant, pass on the after dinner drink. If you feel pretty confident he'll take "no" for an answer, invite him up.

Well one of the things that is unwritten in the rules of dating is that if you get invited to a girls place after a date / dinner / whatever, there is the real possibility that you can extend your stay there and yes maybe get lucky.
The thing here is alcohol is a drug, it is known to loosen inhibitions, why would she want to loosen your inhibitions if she did not realize the implications? Understand after a few drinks you can hardly expect the chap to go drive his car home now that he is probably legally intoxicated, so at the least he might spend the night if you don't call a taxi and pour him into it..

I'd say no, from my perspective. (Unless your married and just getting home from dinner and a movie, LOL) Some guys obviously will have those expectations, but at the same time you have to believe that some of us just don't want the date to end.

Inviting them into your house is a sign that you like them enough to have them there. Also you have to remember your house is a place of privacy anything an happen including sex if you stay in a public area his mind may still be on sex but he won't act on it as quickly.

I think most guys expect something...whether or not it's sex, I'm not sure.

Just know that when you're inviting them "up for a drink" that they more than likely are reading more into it.

If you invite them back to your place after a date, they take that to mean that you want sex with them.

Unfortunately many of them will. So you either have to make it clear to them before hand that you are definitely NOT interested in having sex, or you will just have to not invite them in.
