Don't know if this is what you are looking for ..... it is called Gypsy Tart.
8 oz Short crust pastry.
1x 14oz (400g) tin evaporated milk
12oz (350g) dark muscovado sugar
Preheat oven to 200 c / 400 F / gas 6
Line tin with pastry and bake for 10-15 mins. Leave to cool.
Whisk the evaporated milk and sugar together for 10-15 mins until light and fluffy. The mixture should be coffee coloured.. Pour mixture into pastry case and bake for 10 mins. The gypsy tart will now have a slightly sticky surface but will not set completely until it has ben left to cool. serve cold.
It is yummy !!

Lemon Tarts-2 eggs slightly beaten,1csurgar,1/4 tsp salt,2tbsp lemon juice, 2tbsp melted butter-combine all ingredient, beat slightly,pour into unbaked tart shells;bake 20 minutes in 375 oven
English Butter tarts-1tbsp butter,1c surgar,3 eggs beaten,1/2c milk1c currents,2tsp vanilla-cream together butter and surgar, add eggs,milk currents and vanilla fill tart shells, bake at ten minutes in 375 oven.
Raisin Tarts- or Pecan Tarts- 2 eggs,1cbrown surgar, 1/2 c sryup,1tsp butter, 1tsp milk,1tsp vanilla 1c Raisins or Pecans-beat eggs and brown surgar till thick,add syrup butter, milk, and vanilla,mix and add Raisins or Pecans,fill tart shells and bake 15 to 20minutes in 350 oven.

NO SORRY NEVER HEARD OF THIS KIND OF A TART UNTIL NOW BUT I WOULD LIKE TO TRY IT IT SOUNDS NICE
