It’s just spam dude. I get the same thing. Just report it! They mass message the same thing to a billion different people in hopes to get hits on there site, profile, webcam, etc., etc.

It's annoying but i wouldn't close out your messenger w/o reporting & blocking it.

They probably go to yahoo and search for "profiles". Up comes a link with the results to Yahoo profiles under which you can search for members and get some info on them.

i have had that happen too. i dont know how to get there either, but one day my bf went there and showed me kwiik. but i dont know how to get there. but there is a way to llook up someone thru a yahoo directory.

That is easy that is not realy they should be a spam or virus or offering some money to fool you so dont mind and dont open just delete them .

I don't know--but I would like to. We switched to AOL several months ago--and I get spam IMs. I have no clue how they knew my screen name--it is nothing like the one I use on Answers.

In your inital profile you can be included in the members directory. Go into your profile and change it if you don't want to be included.

i get those to , i think it is just a random email they put in . there are so many you can type in anything and it will go to somebody .

i will bet somebody@yahoo.com is a real address
