Flying out of LAX on Thursday (6/19) on a domestic flight. I've misplaced my driver's license and do not have any other accentable forms of ID to bring to the airport. Can the DMV replace my license or provide some form of acceptable identification for me by then?

pink is correct. They'll give you a paper one. Tell the men and women with the rubber gloves at the airport to be gentle.

I'm sure they can at least give you a slip showing you've applied for a new license. You might have to bring some ID to the DMV, like your birth certificate or a passport or something? Not sure about that.

Pciture ID is required, and can the California DMV do ANYTHING in two or three days? I doubt it.

According to their website it can take up to 60 days to get a replacement.

the dmv should be able to give you a paper copy/temp id till your new one comes in the mail. but you should exspect to have you stuff sherched because its paper if you have a work id or something else with a photo on it you might want to bring it to..GL you might wanna start lookin for the old one.

Yes, but you gotta get in there quick! They can issue you a temporary license with a photocopy type pic of you attached to the temp. license. Don't do it at the last minute though.
