Chinese Noodle Cookies

To make Chinese noodle cookies you'll need:

one 12-ounce bag of butterscotch chips

one cup of smooth peanut butter

6 ounces of dry chow mein noodles (canned or in a bag)

Melt the butterscotch chips in a microwave or double boiler and add the peanut butter, stirring slowly.

Add the chow mein noodles and stir gently until they are coated with the butterscotch mixture. Drop the batter by spoonfuls onto wax paper or an ungreased cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until hard. Yield: 40 cookies.

Or :12 ounces butterscotch morsels
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
16 ounces dry roasted nuts
5 ounces Chinese noodles

Yes, my mom always made them for Halloween and called them Spider Cookies. I think all you have to do is melt some chocolate chips (whatever kind of chocolate you like best) and then just stir in the noodles - carefully, so you don't break them too much - and then drop little clusters onto wax paper. Wait for them to cool and eat up. Yum!

Yes, and they are tasty. You can use any flavor "chips" and just melt them in a double boiler, then mix in the noodles. Butterscotch were the first ones I ever tasted but I've made chocolate, white chocolate, etc. Easy and quick!
