Gyrl, I'm not sure how long you been with ur guy or how old you are, but he pretty much just told you he wants to date other people. That's a slap in the face and you shouldn't stand for it. How could he say that? It's like he didn't even care about your feelings. If he feels that way he shouldn't be in a relationship. All he's doing is standing in the way of a good guy who will respect you and want only you. I'm not sure if ur bf just feels this way right now, because you did said he said he's too young. he might need to grow up a lil more before he considers the marriage thing. i just hope you don't wait on him, because it might take a while before he gets to the marriage stage. I wish you the best of luck and happiness.

My husband said the same thing during the first or second year of our relationship..."I don't want to get married and I don't want kids." Note, I called him my husband! He flew me to a Florida beach to propose and is now excited about having a child. Sometimes, it just takes the right woman to change a guy's mind!

If my boyfriend said that to me, I wouldn't be surprised since I was so young. But if he is saying that he doesn't want to get married to me now or in the future, it would have to depend on if I were wanting to marry him and now that I didn't want to look for anyone else. I would be very dissapointed and hope that he would change his mind.

Being married is only a piece of paper... You may be better off.. with just that thought..You may think I am being harsh now..But if you wait you will thank me some day..Just be you and be happy The world is full of people who will make you happy

look from my experience i can tell that guys freak out when u mention the word marriage , they just get nervous and try to change the subject ,in this case you shouldn't really care about his opinion currently and don't talk about marriage and its stuffs and believe me one day he wouldn't resist it and he 'll open this subject , himself , coz he'll be absolutely sure that he wants to spend the rest of his life with someone like you so don't be shocked and give him some time and care ;)

i think it means that he wants to see other people. He coldn't say it much clearer than that.

Why don't people hear what they are clearly being told? Now that's an interesting question.

i would then ask him" why are we having a relationship if one day we are going to break up? " because thats basically what hes saying- that this is temporary...and he will see other women in the future. makes no sense.

I'd tell him to go ahead and see other people, and you'll do the same. It may hurt, but it's obvious you're not "the one" in his eyes. What else is there to do, really?

Well, you can decide to wait and hope he will change his mind when he's older or you can move on and start dating someone else.

Sometimes when you move on, he begins to see how much he would miss you if you were gone from him forever............

People change their minds every minute of every day.
