I dated a guy once that lived 2 hours away from me. We dated for almost a year. The relationship didn't end because of the distance but because of him being immature. It was hard but if you are committed you can make it work. 45 minutes really isn't very long to drive at all. I mean I drive 30 minutes just to get to a town for groceries...

We are fortunate enough to drive cars, thus 45 miles is something like an hour, if not less! Previous generation would spend more, for the one they love! For me, also, I would do it, until we would decide to be closer! Well, once dated a great person with whom we were meeting after some hours of flight!

I am one of those who drive that to work everyday. 45 miles isn't that far unless you don't have a car.
