This is a great website with quick deliscious meals and desserts. You can even have them email the recipes to you periodically. And, no, it's not a bunch of macaroni & cheese recipes.

We spend about $200 per week for a family of 6 including 3 teenage boys and a preteen boy and also two cats. Sometimes I get away with about $160. but then usually end up buying more during the week so might as well average about $200. I think that's pretty good really considering that is about $33. per person but it is a lot and on top of that we buy a few things in bulk at BJ's warehouse once a month and usually spend about $150. there so per month we spend a total of about $950. I don't buy a lot of junk either, for the record. I buy a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, meats etc...

I would check out Rachel Ray's cook book called "Good Eating 365 days a year" or something like that... they're great recipes and are very quick and easy to make..

Anything with pasta, rice or chicken... There's some real good dishes with Stove top too...or soup!

Try a tofu cookbook. Tofu is very inexpensive, nutritious, and versatile. It also can be quite delicious when prepared skillfully.
