I think I may have a bee stinger stuck in my foot, any suggestions on getting this out? I am a big baby when it comes to pain, and my bf has tried to use tweezers and I wont let him come near. Any painless suggestions on this. If I left it, will it eventually work its way out. It happened about 24 hrs ago.

Put white adhesive tape on it. The kind you use to tape on gauze pads on a cut. Leave it there for a hour. It should pull the stinger right out without pain and without releasing any more poison. If the stinger comes to the top of the wound, put on a new piece of tape and wait another hour. Works great on splinters, too!

Good don't let ur BF near you with the Tweezers! that will squeeze more the of their poison into you... get a credit card and scrape it out start like 1/2" from the bee sting and drag it along ur skin and it should pop out if not go to the doc.

you can take a credit card and briskly wipe the stinger out of your skin. the pain is from the toxin injected by the bee. clean the wound itself and use ice and pain meds (aspirin, ibuprofin) for the pain. if it persists for another 24 hr. or your foot begins to swell or the injection site begins to turn dark, see a doctor since you may have a spider bit. if any family members have hyperallergenic reactions to insect stings, you should discuss with a doctor.

If you leave it in it will eventually make its way out but it could become infected. So, try to numb it with ice then try the tweezers. Tweezers will hurt a lot less than trying to heal the infection. Then, when its out cover it with mud to stop the pain and finally just put a Bandage on it. It hurts and its gross but its better than an infection.

Try numbing the area with ice first so you won't feel it. Distract yourself with something you enjoy like a piece of chocolate or a movie. It may help to take your mind off getting it out and the pain, thus making the process easier.

My mother always used a freshly cut onion. If you rub it on the area it should disolve the stinger. She actually stepped on a Bee by accident in her bare feet one year and she did this and it worked.

Good luck.

it will continue to hurt if the stinger is still in.Get a credit card or something similar and scrape it.Don't use the tweezers, all it's doing is injecting the poison in your foot
