From what I hear? They're much more lively and can go more repeatedly in the sack. They're much easier to excite and more thankful for it. They're MUCH easier to manipulate, as well.

On the downside, they're less experienced, so you'll end up taking more of the initiative. They're more easily intimidated as well. And their less experienced perspective can lack insight to other aspects of life.

Maturity is debatable. Lacking the maturity can be a downside, but having the immaturity and fun that goes with it can be an upside, as well.

Im 3 years younger than my girl, idk if that's "much younger" by your standards. IF he has the same mental maturity level, there arent any drawbacks, besides the question of him being legal for you. Your friends might pick on you for "robbing the cradle" etc. but most of them wont think it's really a big deal.
The benefit is, if he's 3-6 years younger than you, chances are you two will peak in sexual maturity right around the same time, so ull both be at the top of the game, whereas dating a guy your age or older he will reach the top before you and be on the way back down when u get there.

I've been embarrassed a few times when I thought a guy's girlfriend was his mom. :D

A much younger man may be a gold-digger, or just in it for the sex. I don't think anything will come of a relationship between a woman that is much older than the guy.

Occasionally, it might work out--without any hardships on either party. But think of it this way--would you want to be 50, and your wife is 75?

I dated a younger man before, only 3 years younger--he was one of the best lovers I ever had, he taught me a lot about my body (and his too! lol..). The one drawback was that he was so immature when it came to a lot of things. Everytime he got mad at me, he would threaten to kill himself. I finally told him one day to just do it, and I hung up on him. We broke up after that. Needless to say, he never killed himself. We haven't been together in over 13 years and I saw him in the Sprint store for the first time since we broke up--he is married now. Go for it!!

A major drawback is the maturity level. I've never dated a younger guy but I have had that problem with guys my own age.

benifits - possibly more attractive, newer and less experienced so you can mold them, more playful, energetic, and outgoing typpically due to age

drawbacks - not as much experience, so wont be as good in bed as others for a while, might not be able to handle stresses of dating as well, depending on how old the chick is ;) might be a little bit too energetic... lol

how about DON'T! hee hee..i've always dated guys atleast 5-10 years older than me. i find older men more mature, an absolute gentleman...old fashion... expierienced..but maybe your guy is different?? and it wasn't that i was looking only between those age gaps either...it just happened that every guy i went out with was older. :-) good luck

ps..
i guess the only good thing about a younger guy is you can still train him.. hhahah..jk

I would try it and see if it would work, but keep it clean for a while maybe he just wants to brag to his friend about a older chick
