Sure it's normal for people to talk to themselves. Nothing to worry about right now. The time to get worried is when you start to answer yourself.

Yes because it's a kind of self-therapy. People use to do this when they are alone in their home, driving etc. It's a way to be self-conscious and reorganize your thoughts. It is also a sugestion therapy, example: you feel pain and you keep thinking and saying to yourself that you don't have any pain. As a result the pain disappear and you forget about it.

I don't know about normal, but I do quite a lot of it!!! You're not crazy if you talk to yourself; you're not crazy if you answer back. But when you say to yourself "What did you say?!" THAT"S when ya gotta start worrying!!!

maybe. some people talk to themselves because they're depressed. others do it to rehearse a speech or a particularly difficult conversation. if you think you may be depressed, see a counselor. get some help.
