If your car is relatively new you shouldn't have a problem playing CD-R's. Make sure that the music files aren't in MP3 format because many CD players won't play Mp3's. Check to make sure the music is in wav format - you should be able to fit about 10-12 songs on one cd (just like one bought in a store).

it's a simple answer, and I'm 80% sure this will fix it. Buy a different brand of CD-Rs. Cheap CD-Rs will play in some things but not others (especially car audio), good luck!

go buy roxio easy cd creator the last version its a great program and that wav format mess i dunno what shes talkin about but make sure when you go to make your burn list that its set to audio cd and not data(mp3) i usually get about 18-22 songs on my cds that is assuming you dont download your songs from your "cds" at anything above 192kbs cause then they start takin up unnessary amounts of space on the cd and the quality of the music isnt that much better
