I'm *guessing* that you have naturally straight, or maybe wavy hair. If this is the case, do what the irish dancers do!

Before bed:

1) Wash your hair and condition it with a good shampoo. I prefer Curl Life by Matrix. I have very curly hair myself, and this keeps the frizz down and the shine in.

2) Run a good mousse through your hair. Again, partial to Paul Mitchell, but you can use whatever.

3) Get curling papers (you can get them at Wal-Mart, a little box for maybe $1-2.

4) Use pink goody sponge rollers and start at the top. Straighten out a strand of hair, put some mousse on it. Fold the paper over it, like you're highlighting it, and then put the curler in. Repeat. :)
*Edited to add: Fold the paper up at the top of the strand of hair. Run it down the hair to smooth it out. When the bottom of the paper is at the bottom of your strand, then stick the curler in.

5) When you wake up in the morning, take all the curlers and paper out. If it's too curly for you, you can *lightly* run your fingers through it. Spray with hairspray.

My sister has hair that can't hold a curl or a crimp. This is the only way that she's been able to keep it curly. Since she was dancing, she would get very sweaty, and we were in the humid outdoors, and it still stayed put for a few hours. I'm sure this will work great if you're just going to work or something.

Let me know if I can clarify anything for you! :)

Edited to add: You want to try to stay away from drugstore shampoos & product if you try this. Drugstore product will dry out your hair and scalp (most of it contains a lot of alcohol) and cause you to itch. Itching with rollers in your hair is not fun!

below i listed a website with a product on it. Its for curling your hair. Anything from a store will work and help it curl better. Just go to the hair aisle and look at the products they have. they usually will have something about curling or heat on the front. you spray it on before you curl, like a startch. this helps your hair curl better and helps it hold. when your done spray your hairstyle with a lasting hair spray. depedning on what kind of hair you like. i dont like for my hair to move so i use rave4x. it doesn't make your hair soft, but it won't move, hence the back of the bottle says "for those who keep their hair out late" so true. Also there are various types of shampoo and conditioners that are made spacifically to enhance curliness so just go check out the hair isles and im sure you'll find something.

Well it depends what you mean by that... do you have natural curly hair? Do you curl it and want it to last longer?

If your hair is naturally curly then use mousse and frizz serum on it.
If you curl it and just want it to stay in longer than I suggest spraying it with a heat protection spray before curling. And also use hairspray afterwards.

Apparently there's a shampoo that curls hair. Look for it in your local drug store.
