Not for me; I'd throw in some grilled possum kabobs! (And MoonPies for dessert.)

Not really. You need something fresh in there -- slice an onion in with the beans, or add a small salad and you're good. Corn is largely carbohydrate, very hard to digest, and not a good source of vitamins. Taters are good, beans are a good source of protein and gravy just makes the medicine go down. My husband would say if you added ketchup to your suggested taters, beans and gravy, you'd have a perfect meal....

Corn, taters, beans and gravy do not make a complete meal. Too much starch, try some green vegetables instead of beans.

Oh hell yeah, you can do nearly anything with potatoes....

boil em, mash em, stick um in a stew

Just boil those taters, serve those bean and corn as sides, and pour the gravy on what you want.

It may fill you up but those things are not a complete meal. Beans are a half protein so you still need another protein. Corn and beans are grains. You need a green vegetable.

Are you really looking for a complete meal? You'd need a dairy. What would the gravy go on? Are you going to blend it or serve them separately?

Sounds good to me. Most people would say this meal is missing a meat, but beans are a good alternative source of protein.

No-- you are missing one food group--the bread group. Bake some cornbread for your beans and it's complete.
