I'd be the first one. I, like any guy, have hormones. Male hormones, to be specific. Testosterone does some really messed up stuff to your head. So I'm not going to lie, the second option sounds more FUN. But fun is only part of life. And no matter what anyone says, fun does NOT equal happiness. Happiness, for me, is finding a girl who I connect with, who I can enjoy simply spending time with. It's having a woman who can be my best friend, my wife, my confidant, my lover, and the woman I get wild and crazy with however we decide to. It's all things. And none of those things are ever surface deep. You can never find those happinesses with just any woman, no matter how attractive. As for honor, courage, humility, sensitivity, for me at least, these are things I tend to embrace naturally. Some people say I'm an old soul. I believe in honor and courage and treating others like a decent human being, and these are the things I try to adhere to in all that I do. So, to make a long rant short, I'm definitely the first option.

First one for sure. I have been like that ever since I was a kid. The first time I proposed to a girl was when I was 7. To me, commitment is the only acceptable form of love. I saved my sex for marriage (and so did my wife) because I wanted to give my wife the best. From hind sight, I wish I had not courted before I courted my wife; not only that I would have saved the hurt, but also I could have given the best of my "emotion" to my wife (if you know what I mean).

Hate to tell you this but there is a lot more gray area to this than a simple black and white, one or the other type choice in regard to this. I'm definitely a lot closer to the first choice but not nearly so goody two shoes as the guy you describe.

I like being the first part and would love to have that. But, romance and commitment etc... has gotten me nowhere with women. The first bad boy that comes along and they chase after him like a dog in heat.
