It seems like I always need gum! Maybe it's because I just love it? >< Or is it addictive?

uh huh, ANYTHING can become addictive. Many times it is only addictive in the mind (being a mental addiction) Where as other things are physically addictive. Just like the debate that marijuana is a mentally addictive, where say heroine is a physical addiction.

What you have is an oral fixation.
You are the kind of person who chews on pens/pencils, or your nails. Smoking is one of those ways people try to handle it, then they get additcited. Gum is meerly sugar and other ingredients for flavor, I'm sure there's nothing truely addictive about it.

Just as long as you don't chew like a cow, I'm sure no one will have a problem with it. Miss Violet Boregard.
