Don't get me wrong, I don't mind teaching someone something they've never learned. I just can't stand people that are too ignorant to use their intelligence.
NO, we're not talking about strangers.
I'm talking about people that are massive amounts smarter than I am, that choose not to use it.
Seems to be about 90% of the people around me these days.

I think it's the laziness with which I become impatient. That may be more what you mean - people who are too lazy to think for themselves.
Here's something to consider, though. People were created for the Garden of Eden. . .for paradise. . .and eventually heaven. Isn't our impatience actually a DEMAND for that perfection we seek here and now? That's what makes it wrong. We live in an imperfect world. This can teach us a lot if we allow it to do so rather than giving in to base feelings. We can learn more patience, kindess, and so much more if we don't demand perfection when it can't exist.
Don't focus on what's wrong, just focus on your part - doing what's right and pleasing to God.

Depends. If that's what you expect out of someone, then no. Personally, I like a little "selective stupidity" myself, for no reason but to have fun with it though. Being all uptight and crotchety is not a life I'd like to live, or share.
But your life is not mine to establish.
(Believe it or not, integrating that "selective stupidity" actually took a LOT of EFFORT to do! But I've only been happier because of it.)
