Vinegar is an astringent, so it shrinks the tissues in your mouth and lips; the salt pulls moisture away and makes your mouth feel dry. The combination is a double whammy! (Love 'em though)

Wierd because all the salt and vinegar has pretty much just sucked the water out of your mouth and your pucker is all screwed up.

Because you have something extremely acidic in your mouth, which is more acidic than your regular saliva. It's kind of like eating a very sour dill pickle- your mouth puckers and draws back a little at the sharpness of the first taste.

because the salt and vinegar make your mouth raw. It makes it so that you don't have saliva in your mouth...but they are so good!!

the vingegar is tart and the salt is an acid so it makes you pucker
