Lucifer was God's favorite angel at one time and he found favor with him enough to even give him the keys to creation. When this and Lucifer's free will began to work together he thought he could create a better plan. The plan we have today on Great Planet Earth is that plan manifest.
Yes God created him as a spiritual being just as God created you as a spiritual being. Just suppose for a moment that you could create anything that you wanted with this Universe. Would you do it any different?
The difference between God and you or any other spirit, is that He alone is Omnipotent. He can even take what Lucifer has created, and use it as a fire to separate the gold from the impurities. That is what is happening today and soon He will destroy all that Lucifer has created outside of His will. It is sort of like drawing on one of those plastic drawing pads, that when you are finished, you lift it up and the stuff you were drawing disappears. Soon all of the stuff that the devil has been drawing on the face of creation will simply be removed by what ever means necessary.
Oh you said santa, I thought you said satan. Hum!

Stop being silly. It's obviously a watered-down version for children. And the saint's name isn't Kris Kringle but Saint Nicholas. Saints are generally assumed to have been made perfect, so why should he not have some small measure of the attributes of God. And, just like Nicholas did, we will all bow before God whether we believe or not.

But don't treat God like Santa! He won't let Himself be used like that. You don't expect children to understand and behave adultly, but as we mature, it is only reasonable that we should be good less and less for prospective rewards and more and more because it conforms us to the moral character of God.

There is certainly a resemblance. But don't mistake the shadow of the person for the person.

Blasphemy!
When did Santa ever ask the elves to totally destroy a neighboring tribe, including their kids & cows?
Did Kris drown everyone who didn't believe in him?
Or destroy 2 cities because the were naughty - not nice?
Or allow the torture of someone who was 100% percent faithful to him, by Job?

Oh, but wait a minute ... there was that devilish lump of coal business. OK, it's a draw.

No, silly, Santa and Satan are the same thing, being anagrams of each other and such. :o}

I would be wary of trying to "prove" the existence of either God or Santa, since they tie into belief systems.
