Before this silly debacle over Coulter, I already knew that Sheehan was using her son's death to validate her misguided ideology and drive her popularity. I remember her smiling from ear to ear as the police carted her off in Washington D.C. and how revolting that image was to me. Sheehan simply could not control her satisfaction. Coulter is overly brash but absolutely correct about Sheehan and the four widows. Sheehan has been allowed to continue her controversial behavior and pointless adolescent worthy stunts as liberals try to provide her with a teflon cloak against any criticism.

Coulter is one of the closely monitored people in the world. Every word is studied and closely scrutinized. Yet every liberal anti-Coulter website can only come up with the same dozen or so arguments and "coulterisms" to refute her. Liberals are deathly afraid of her. Coulter's accuracy is above 99% which makes her the most accurate writer in popular media and absolutely lethal to liberals.

Tisk Tisk Tisk.
Poor Ann is so mis-understood. In regards the Jersey Girls, I heard someone say that Ann attacked their personal tragedies. Oops - Liberal slip up! Ann attacked the right of the Jersey Girls to hide behind their status as widows. Big difference. It is typical of the Liberal argument and exactly Anns point. Liberals hide behind the 'untouchables' to avoid rational discussion. Conservatives desire rational national debate. I've said it a hundred times: Liberals fear being seen for who they are and what they believe. The Jersey Girls and Cindy Sheehan are just two examples of 'untouchables'. Or at least they were until Ann refuted that myth. Point, set, match Ann Coulter!

Coulter is a hypocrite.

She made a somewhat valid point that if someone steps into the political stage, their personal tragedy should not prevent people from debating their political views.

However that's not was Coulter did--she ignored Sheehan and the Jersey Girls' polical views and attacked the very personal tragedies she claimed should not be a factor.

So she wound up looking like a shrill, hypocritical harpie who sunk to personal attacks because she couldn't debate the issues

To Zee Hat:

Saying that the were enjoying their husbands death, calling them "harpies" and saying that "for all we know their husbands were planning to divorce them anyway" cannot in any way be construed as a political debate--it is a personal attack, nothing less.

And btw, I'm conservative, and I think that Coulter's approach is childish and reprehensible, and makes Conservatives look like the heartless, morally bankrupt goons that the Left accuses them of being..

Coulter is an American hero, and deserves every dime she makes. Hell, I'll send her $20 just on general principle.

Sheehan is NOT rooting for peace. Were we at peace on Sept. 11th, 2001? I wonder how she defines peace. Hussein had been firing missles at U.S. jets since the year 1992. Was that peace? Hussein has plotted to kill a U.S. President. Was that peace? Terrorists have been blowing up Americans for decades. Were we at peace then?

When we FINALLY get around to defending ourselves, all of a sudden Sheehan and her anti-American slimeball buddies demand peace. Here's Sheehan's definition of peace: When America is sitting back and not defending itself.

We'll have peace when the enemy is defeated, and not before.

Since you asked, I'm rooting for victory, not retreat.

What's your point? Someone using tragedy as a political handle? Is that what you are saying?

And how many times does your president say "9/11"? "Remember 9/11", "We will never forget"... The entire GOP platform is based on 9/11. Take away that and there is nothing, NOTHING that the GOP can talk about. Without 9/11, there is no war "of" terror, no Iraq, no WMD, no Iran, no patriot act, no wire-tapping, no bullshit. Without 9/11 there would be no bush! heh, without 9/11 you wouldn't have this question to ask!!

Pot calling the kettle black.

Sheehan at least is rooting for peace. WTF are you rooting for turkey?
