I really like him. Should I tell him? If so how?

This guy and I are friend, but I like him as more than a friend. I have liked him for 4 years now and haven't told him. I am afraid if I tell him it might ruin our friendship. He is perfect for me though. I don't think he likes me like that at all. What should I do? Should I tell him or have a friend tell him for me? What should I say to him if I tell him?

Tell him flat out - you know, I like you, I really like you. I would like to date you but I know we're friends. What do you think?

If you are friends, you will...talk it out, right? And be prepared to hear what he has to say. If he tells you thanks but no thanks so what, at least you know where he stands and you don't get all weird about it. Listen carefully, smile and tell him you appreciated having this talk and you value the friendship you have with him and it will not change.

Then get out there and find someone who has similar qualities as himself in another man elsewhere.

You should try to find out if he likes you are not. But if he doesn't, and you don't want to ruin the friendship, don't tell him.

write down how you feel in a letter and get a friend to give it to him and tell them to stay with him until he reads it but put another piece of paper in and ask at the bottom of your letter for him to write back about how he feels about you and to give it to your friend who will bring it back to you that is one way or pull him to one side so there is just you and him and have a heart to heart with him

if in 4 years he you have been nothing but a friend then saying that you love him wouldn't make anything work.
