No, diet Coke contains no sugar and no calories.

It does contain caffeine. Four a day isn't excessive. You will be O.K.

You can still die, but probably not from Diet Coke. Aspartame is toxic and too much isn't very good for you:

More from answerbag:

"Aspartame could be toxic. Aspartame has not been studied long-term to determine its effects on humans. The Aspartame people would say differently and are much like the tobacco industry. They too, have difficulty admitting cigarette smoking is bad for health.

There are many theories out there. Some say that because the body craves calories the drinkers of diet soda can actually gain excess weight and become obese. Diet sodas stimulate "sweet" taste buds, so they’re more likely to find something "sweet" to eat.

If you routinely drink soda--regular or diet--eliminating it from your diet is one of the simplest and most profound health improvements you can make."

No,you will not die. You will just gain exessive weight, even though your drinking diet coke............

About 2 Diet Cks= 1 coke with same amount of sugar
so that's 2 reg cokes a day * 365 days in a year=730 cokes!!!
about 70 pounds you will gain from drinking cokes all year.

You might want to switch to a healthier beverage, like juice (full of vitamins,& prevents colds), water (loaded with floride, makes your teeth stronger & healthier, even strenghthens your emanel.)

artificial sweeteners are not good for you. If you consume them all the time. They also have bad reactions with certain medications. There have been case of asperitine poisoning that minic's serious conditions like MS and other dieases. These are documented so you can look it up on line. Also coke has lots of acid. They use it to clean grills in resturants and we use to use it to unplug g-tubes in the hospital and nursing home. Its basically pretty unhealthly for you. Maybe one or 2 a day if your really hooked (which many are the caffiene in coke is pretty high).

I have been drinking that many diet cokes a day for 3 years and still haven't died so my answer based on personal experience is "not likely".

No, but eventually your stomach is going to start hating you. Be wary, because the Coke will tend to thin your stomach's protective lining because of its acidity. I used to do 5-6 regular cokes a day and it finally caught up to be and gave me an ulcer! All by the time I was 20. Yeesh!

U won't die but the acid in the coke alone will start to eat holes in your stomach lining over time and then well that just leads to whole world of hurt.

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

'so i don't know if you will die after a year a 2 or now may be you will not see tomorrow. Be prepared brother.

No, but I must say it isn't all that great for you. Even though its diet, it still has a whole lot of sugar in it which is not so good. I know people who drink WAY more pop than that, you'll be fine.

I don't think you will die, however, too much caffeine and carbonation is very bad for your body. Caffeine dehydrates you, so you will need more water to stay hydrated. All the carbonation will make you pretty bloated as well.
