One solution to an insomnia problem is to re-train yourself from any bad habits you may have acquired since the time you were able to 'sleep like a baby'.
Do not use your bed for anything except sleep - or, well, you know. Don't lie in bed or use your bedroom to read, watch television, eat, talk on the phone, use your computer or other non-sleep related activities. Do all those things in other areas. If you can't sleep once in bed, get up and out of bed, and sit or work in another area until you are ready to try and go back to bed. You want to retrain yourself so that when you lie down in bed and turn off the light, your mind and body knows exactly what that means, and that means sleep.
Train your body to a regular daily cycle of sleeping and waking. Set a specific time to go to bed every night and stick to it, even on weekends, Don't 'sleep in' beyond a specific waking time, even on weekends. Unfortunately, your body doesn't know the difference between Friday night and Tuesday night or Sunday morning and Monday morning, and it can get 'confused' which throws off your natural sleep patterns.
Of course, stopping caffeine beverages after 12 noon or so will help; switch to decaffeinated coffees, teas and colas. Also check other products, such as medications, for caffeine as well.

I suffered with insomnia for 2 years straight! I was miserable. I had tried many over the counter remedies as well as herbs and nothing seemed to work. I have since discovered a product that is all natural with medical validation. After 2 days of taking this, I started sleeping through the night and have never had a bad nights sleep since! It is 100% safe and effective.

Pls research your brother earlier than treating and dont concentrate to many, simply follow your possess observations. I am a Humanities Professional, and feature come throughout many such individuals. Many of them, endure 'self-conciousness aspect'. They themselves get involved that they aren't speaking within the crowd or simply cant perform a dialogue - which makes them extra dumb (they're going to no longer pay attention to the occasion or the subject / although they listen they're going to at the same time feel approximately the questions or phrases to utter, the influence of the ones questions or feedback on others - "will the opposite man feel me a idiot?" variety of.) When the time is going up, they're going to discover it much more intricate, due to the fact that they believe uncomfortable/dangerous approximately themselves that they aren't speaking something / popping out with a commnet, and every body in that room have talked approximately the subject. Some discover solace while one more player may be no longer speaking. For them the exceptional cure is, as a loved ones you sit down in conjunction with him and begin a subject in which he's very expert. Slowly contain a few of his peers, than your peers, after which aged individuals (final to be integrated). Over a interval slowly transfer the subjects from his 'good recognized' to least recognized. This would possibly take few months and even years. But many shy individuals have come over it simply due to the fact that of loved ones individuals or peers. Your brother is probably not so conversant due to the fact that of a few different aspect - however something can also be solved with ease if the loved ones individuals take part, detect, talk about, and discover an answer. Dont count on instantaneous outcome. You would possibly get annoyed and you can also endanger your brother in his issues. And do the entire matters with out making him mindful of those.

The most practical answer I can think of is: If you're going to be awake anyway, at least do something productive. I know a guy who had insomnia so he wrote a book. As soon as it was finished, he could sleep again. Maybe you have something on your mind that you need to take care of.

Read, listen to music, Watch T.v., Computer, Hot bath or shower, Clean(might not want to but it works), go for a walk, or write. Turns out most people that can't sleep have something on their mind. If you read something or look at pictures something in your mind might click and you can just start writing down what's bothering you. You'll feel a lot better. Good luck!!!
