Yea, big bummer. It was a friend who started a restaurant called KEEBAS which stood for Keeping Everyone Eating Better And Sensibly. It was a organic vegan fast food joint with the best burritos I have ever had in my life! and I have had a lot of vegan burritos. It was around for about a years and just couldn't make the overhead because of the cost of organic food. I ran in to the owner at a party a little after it closed. He says the dream is still alive and he wants to re-open. I would be really surprised, happy but surprised if he could pull it off again.

Yes, several times...unfortunately the average lifespan for a startup restaurant is pretty short. A lot of things have to go right for a restaurant to succeed over a long period...

Yeah, I went to this really awesome latin fusion restaurant once on a date and when I went to go back by myself, it wasn't open anymore. Come to find out, the chef was dealing drugs out of the restaurant or something wacky like that.
