Can you add in your details in what ways are some people hiding behind the church to molest kids? To my understanding some people make all types of excuses for doing anything wrong. How on Earth can anybody justify molestation through the church? The churck I go to, do not say it is alright to molest anyone.

That is not a fair question. People who molest children are sick. Period. The church has nothing to do with it. There are child molesters in government, that are doctors, lawyers, teachers, you name it. And yes, there are pastors and priests who molest children. BUT NOT ALL PRIESTS OR PASTORS. It is an outrage to even think it. Like I said, these people are in all walks of society. They are sick people.

I don't believe it started that way. I truly believe that they felt they had a calling from God to serve, but somewhere along the way the devil took over and these priests/ministers could not control themselves and I do believe they should be punished just like other child molester.

Sexual predators, just like predators in the jungle, go where they can find the easiest prey. They attain a position in the church of trust, then use that trust to take advantage of those who are weak. I think, too (and please don't attack me for this), that the Catholic church in particular may have its particular problems with predators (and gay men) because of its rule about celibacy - someone who is not attracted to women may be more inclined toward young boys or other men.

Bible thumpers. It is easy to hide in church. My grandfather didn't go to church and he was a sick child molester. He molested me and my two older sisters. Who knows what else he did? Molesters are not only in churches. I hope they all die. I'll help kill them all..

People hide behind church for many things unfortunately. Hiding behind religion and "interpreting" the meaning are altogether too common.
People do it, I suppose, to justify their behavior to others and to themselves. They justify it to the point where in their minds they think it is ok.
It's very sad.

simply because molesters come from ALL WALKS OF LIFE. Remember that. Just cause someone is a christian don't mean they are uncapable of such.
