if you truly loved them, you would not complicate their life by telling them at this point in time
love by definition means "unselfish", so if the person is happy in a relationship you keep it to yourself
even if you perceive that they are unhappy you should not tell them because this is only your view of things
if and when they are truly unhappy they will leave the relationship, after some amount of grieving time has passed, you may then tell them

You don't say if this is someone you're in contact with on a regular basis. If you are, then try to find out from that person where their head is at. It might just be a casual relationship, open-ended where they see other people. If you really want something bad enough you try every which way to be with them. Call on the phone, say you need advice on something you need to purchase. Ask others if they know how serious they are. Always look put together and smile when in view of this person. Send a secret admirerer card. It may work.Send flowers. Everyone gets curious when they are persued.

I think that when you love someone, you should NEVER give up, no matter what. i don't care what the consequences are. if you are really truly in love w/ someone, you are going to be willing to do anything for them. of course you want to be w/ them. but most of all, you want them to be happy more than anything. so you have to let them know how you feel. give them a card, write them a letter, send an e-mail. or tell them in person, however you do it. they must know how you feel. b/c you are obviously feeling that way for a reason. there is always a possiblity...if not, you know its not meant to be. whatever is meant to be will always find its way..i promise. you just have to be patient. and trust God's plan for you to follow through. he has a plan for everyone..

You don't. If you really love the person, then not hurting him/her with the knowledge that you love them when they can't do anything about it should be more inportant to you than making your feelings known. Keep it to yourself, be the best friend you can be, and be patient. An opportunity will come up for you to tell him/her if that's what's meant to be.

you don't. You either wait until they are out of the relationship or just forget them. If you are willing to dump your problem on them, it just shows that you are more concerned about yourself than about them.
