It depends on you......i have a baby and went swimming maby two weeks after and it was fantastic you also get to loose alot of the baby weight which is better cause the soon you get to work on it the easier it is to shift. I know this is unorthidox but it really depends on how long and how heavy the bleeding is after the birth.

Yes, you can swim again once you have stopped bleeding, usually at five weeks post-natal. Don’t even think about swimming as much as you did before the birth – you will be surprised how weak you will feel after a few lengths.

That is a question better left to your doc, with it being a public pool infection could spread easily, not to mention if you are still bleeding you can't wear tampons, ask the doc for the better advise
I'm still bleeding and It's been 6 weeks since I delivered my baby

I'm not sure about pregnancy, but be sure to wait 30 minutes after eating. That's a biggie.

check with your Doc. I've got a friend that was told no tampons (get with it guys, it's a chic question) or bath tub baths for 6 weeks after her son was born.

You might want to ask your doctor to be sure, but definitely not before the stitches are out.
