Eating raw eggs is NOT good for you. There is a risk of salmonella.

The risk of salmonella exists when eating a raw egg but it is a tiny risk. Egg yolks are high in cholesterol which would be a for sure draw back but they have no more nutritional value raw than they do cooked.

A lot of people eat raw eggs for the protein. While salmonella is definitely a risk, most dairy and egg products are pasteurized to rid them of any sort of bacteria. You get the same benefits from eating the eggs cooked though.

It is not. You can get salmonella poisoning and get violently ill. If you get a bad enough strain, you may even die.
