Salad and Garlic Bread and a nice Red Wine

Yum!

Think about adding different "colors" and textures to your plate. Add some buttery yellow corn-on-the-cob, and a fresh dark green spinach salad with shiny mandarin oranges. Throw in a rich brown whole wheat roll and your meal will look beautiful to the eye and you'll have covered the major food groups, too!

Bon appetit!

It's a very rich dish, all you need is a simple salad. You could either do sliced heirloom tomatoes with fresh basil, or a salad of arugala or escarole mixed with a little something for color like thinly sliced red and/or yellow bell pepper and black olives. Either one just needs a light dressing of good balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil with a light sprinkling of salt and pepper. Enjoy!

Nothing beats fresh pasta. My fave these days is gemmeli (fine little twists). Mix with some garlic, a bit of olive oil and a shake of parm or romano cheese.

YUM

A nice angel hair or similar pasta tossed with light olive oil, garlic and basil. You can also add diced ripe tomatoes, mushrooms and/or thinly sliced almonds too. Enjoy.
