it depends...if he still have love feelings for you, it will be easy for him to be back again in your arms...also, you could try the ff:
try to reconcile to him, try visiting him at his home & bring some of his favorite food made by you, as for peace offering....
try to use his weakness/ticklish, for him to be easily fall for you again...
say I love you with all your heart & hug him as you hug your favorite pillow or teddy bear!

If he's not willing to accept your apology for acting emotionally to the news his own blood relative told you then he's not worth your heart, girl. If he gives in and let's you say you're sorry, I'd take the smallest of small steps to try to get him back. Don't be upset if he doesn't feel like hanging out one night. Go to the park, the mall, Wal Mart...somewhere where the two of you can admire things together. Smile. Laugh. Don't ask too many questions that might set him off to not want to take the step tomorrow.
