I am making Polish Hamburgers and Noodles with Salad.

1 pound ground round
1 egg
1 small onion, minced
1/2 green pepper, minced
salt and pepper
1 cup (maybe more) italian bread crumbs

Mix all that and fry in a little oil until done. Serve with A1 (no buns)

Noodles

Olive oil (about 3 tablespoons)
Equal amount to olive oil--- butter (not margerine)
6 to 8 cloves garlic
1 small shallot
parmesan cheese
spaghetti noodles, cooked

Make the noodles. Get oil and butter melted add garlic and shallot and when they cook for a few minutes, add the noodles and stir for a couple of minutes to get a coat of the garlic oil on them. Serve them with parm on top. Add fresh parsley if you wan to.

Salad:

Open bag, add dressing and wala!!!

Good luck tonight!!

Both of us work full time and sometimes can't put in a great deal of time preparing a good meal. We both like to cook, but we sometimes have to take shortcuts.

There are a lot of prepackaged entrees available. We often supplement these with veggies and toss a fancy salad to go along.

When we are trying to watch our carbs and calories, we toss a few greens and fresh ingredients with a can of water packed tuna. Add a generous dollop of any one of dozens of lite dressings and we can stuff ourselves without guilt.

Yes, sometimes we pig out on homemade tacos & stuff.

I don't know what we are having for dinner. Probably speg and meatballs, if I have the sauce. I haven't taken anything out of the freezer so it will be something quick.
