I've made this recipe many times and it's a favorite in my family. Originally, we found it on the back of a Hershey's Cocoa Tin. It's more like fudge than a true cookie but so yummy. I think I'm going to make some too!

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons Hershey's cocoa
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:

Mix oats and peanut butter in bowl and set aside. Heat sugar, cocoa, margarine and milk in sauce pan until it boils. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Add oats, peanut butter and vanilla and stir. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Let cool.

This recipe for No Bake Cookies serves/makes 3.5 dozen.

OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 3 cups oatmeal 1/2 cup cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup nuts (optional) Mix the above and set aside. Then mix the following: 2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup or 1 stick butter or margarine Cook and boil 3 minutes only. Add oatmeal mixture and mix well and then drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Warning: Do not use anything except waxed paper; other types will melt into cookies. Also, drop from pan quickly or it will harden before you finish.
