None of both!! Firstly go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The pressure on your disc will reduce, and it will heal completely. It's really an amazing treatment.

Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's really worth travelling far. Once in a lifetime!

Don't have any surgery done - rather go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect is, that the pressure on your discs will be distributed much better and the disc can really recover. Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's really worth travelling far.

DO NOT GET SURGERY! I have two bulging discs (L4-L5 and L5-S1) and have lost seventeen pounds and am virtually pain free by....starting a Pilates class! No one was more surprised than me. Can't believe how great I feel, didn't think it was possible. Get your dr to refer you to physical therapy with Pilates focus. I have learned so much...back surgery will only help with any leg issues you may be having (ex: numbness, tingling, pain), but not with back pain, or lack of mobility. Good luck!
