There is nothing that can completely replace water. Depending on the flavor, Crystal Light contains preservatives butylated hdroxyanisole and sodium benzoate as well as magnesium oxide to reduce caking. Some flavors contain artificial colors like blue 1, yellow 5 and red 40. Although sugar-free, it contains aspartame and some other sweeteners may be present including corn syrup, maltodextrin and acesulfame potassium. You're best to stick with water and if you're considering Crystal Light or other supplements, make certain that it fits in with your diet and your body's balanced nutritional requirements.

I don't think drinking Crystal Light counts as daily water intake. It's just like a koolaid drink. Drinking plain filtered water is the best for you.

Yes and one single serving of crystal light has only 5 calories so you would have to drink an excessive amount of this in order for tthe calories to start adding up.I have a hard time to drink six to eight glasses of water a day,but i will drink it with crystal light.

I was told by weight watchers you can count any beverage that has no caffeine or sugar as part of your water intake. You can use these as half but you still need to drink some water on its own.

Absolutely. H2O in any form, mixed with anything, counts as water. Salt, however, takes away from the hydration effect as it will dehydrate you (even in a minor way) ... water is water. Except sewage water, don't drink that. Also, stay away from yellow snow.

I don't see why not, I count koolaid as my daily water intake. I take the bottle of spring water, put it in the plastic koolaid container and add 2 scoops of pre-sweetened koolaid.
