Well that is great that you have standards that you are standing by!!!! More women need that. You are young but you are at the age where those things become important. I know that you don't want to hear this but your time will come and when it does it will be well worth the wait. Do not settle for something less than you deserve just for the sake of being able to say that you have a bf. It is not worth it, stand your ground and you will be fine, it will come!!

Give it time be patient and before you know it things happen. Some one will ask you out. The school dance is a good way to get started let the guys know that you are not desperate but willing and available for the right guy to ask you to be there date. I wouldn't be in to big a hurry to want them for a boyfriend until your sure like them well enough though.

14? Girl, yes, as a 27 year old, I think you are too young for a bf. Have fun, enjoy yourself, spend time with your friends.

Keep your standards high. Don't have a bf just to have one. If there is nobody good, then wait. Once you find that right guy, you will know and everything will fall into place.

I don't think you are too young. I am really impressed that you have the good sense to not date just anybody. You have good instincts and never forget that. I suggest hanging with your friends and don't get into places or situations that you won't be able to get out of. You sound like a sensible young lady and your instincts will serve you well in years to come as long as you listen to them.

Patience is a virtue. If I was you, I'd just wait. Ok no one is good enough, dont settle.

But you gotta think of this too, 14 is sorta young to begin dating. But, its good you are thinking about it, and being picky about it. Why not talk to your mom or better yet, your dad about this. I just hope you have a solid and open relationship with them.

i could still see a milk mark on the left side of your mouth!
you're 14, get a good enjoyable life and don't rush finding out and going on to a relationship which i think you know little of!
it's the curiosity of trying to find out the real feeling of love that's driving you crazy to find a mate...
and the older guys, keep off, they just love your youthfulness and when they've gotten over with you, you're as good as a dumped hot potato dear...
concentrate on your studies, aim for a better future, guys will come rushing and looking for you...

don't date young. it's a waste of time. Seriously.
Date when you're at least 16 cause boyz aren't even developed when they're 14, neither are you. No need.

Yes... I believe that 14 is too young to date... and when you are of an appropriate age... that stuff will take care of itself.

The guys will GET what you bring to the table and be attracted to you... and THEY will be seeking YOU out.

What's your hurry. You are only 14, you will have plenty of time to date later.
