There are literally tens of thousands of poems in relation to 9/11:
the following is my attempt from UK:-
The Twin Towers – 9 /11
The world turned upside down today,
Surely this cannot be right,
To do such things to get ones way,
By death, destruction, terror, fright.
The sight was burned upon my eyes,
Of deathly events on a distant shore,
Insanity fell from out the skies,
On those who see loved ones no more.
In the name of religion, these things were done,
If they were right, it leaves one cold,
In the name of God, there is but One,
The problem is not new but old.
But He shall have the final say,
When He shall decide, He shall rule,
On those before Him on Judgement Day,
That what they did was wrong and cruel.
Instead of raising them on high,
His findings to them He shall declare,
On Martyrdom and Suicide,
And without doubt, make them aware.
Thou shalt not kill, was writ on stone,
To live, to die, is not man’s choice,
To take a soul, is His alone,
To disobey, a mammoth price.
For they shall spend eternity,
In Hell for what they did this day,
And ponder for infinity,
That this was not, is not, the way.
