Yes, my wife had 2 miscarriages and they only thing that is definite is that when you have sex you can get pregnant!
After the two miscarriages we went to a fertility specialist and he did test and ultrasounds and checked follicle growth around the eggs during ovulation and he suggested the 3 days we should be most active. Well after 3 months and clomid (drug) we were not getting pregnant and decided to take the summer off from visiting the Dr. well sure enough we became pregnant and it was not around a day that she should have been ovulating?????
My wife was 38 and the only thing the Dr. could say is that anything can happen when you have sex! !
Good luck and I hope you don't have anymore miscarriages. (not fun to deal with)

It's very possible to get pregnant again right after a miscarriage; it's why doctors usually recommend that you use protection for the first cycle. :) The body is unusually fertile at that time. Sperm can live 3-5 days in a healthy, friendly environment, so there is definitely a chance that you could be pregnant.
It's also possible that your body is still readjusting to NOT being pregnant anymore. The uterus needs time to shrink back down to normal size so it can support another embryo, and the hormones need time to go back to doing what they should.
The only way you are going to know which of these is the case it to take a pregnancy test. Try to take it first thing in the morning, as soon as you get up to pee, and use a very sensitive brand. See the website below for a list of brands and what they measure. Good luck!

Of course, you are most fertile after a miscarriage and after having a baby, that's why you hear about all these women getting pregnant 1 or 2 months after giving birth, because they are so fertile. I had a miscarriage and two weeks later I was pregnant again and I am much like you, I have exactly 28 day cycle, never more, never less.

Yes, you can get pregnant after a miscarrage. With a 28 day cycle your most fertile days (day one would be the first day of your period) are days 10 - 15. You had sex on day 8 and sperm could have certainly been around to fertilize an egg.
If you want to check when you are fertile try a calculator like the one at this site: http://www.babycenter.com/calculators/ovulation/
Good Luck

Yes, you could be, although most docs want you to use protection for about 6 weeks to give your body a rest. The delayed period could also be due to the miscarriage. Why not go get and get a two pack test...you should get accurate results now since you have certainly past the first day of your missed period.
Take care, and good luck!

Sorry for your loss- women over the age of 35 have a harder time getting pregnant it's a known fact. Yes the chances are you can get pregnant again but you have to throw caution to the wind.
I miscarried on my second pregnancy at 30 and it took me another year to fall again because after the miscarriage i decided it wasn't the right time and went on the depo provera injection. It took so long after that to conceive but thankfully it worked.
My son is 2 today!! It is possible but look after yourself and take the warning signs seriously
Good luck
