When you catch him in a lie, say something like, "I'm sorry. I know you're not telling me the truth and therefore, I don't want to see you anymore. You blew it. Have a nice life." Be calm and polite too, as that always gets people in an uproar. You shouldn't stick around with a liar. Lord knows what else he's lying about. Cut your losses now and you'll be better off.

that is not an unusual situation, boys lies, girls lies...
the thing is it does hurt when someone lies to you, it would be either he is protecting his interest or his protecting you from some things you would not really like hearing.

you can either slowly stay away from that guy to avoid further lie, or forgive him and hope he will not do it again..

on my case confronting does not really have any good effects except maybe if you could ask him to explain the entire situation. probably it could enlighten you or hurt you more. people have reasons, but there are reasons which may not be acceptable to you. you may also just try to understand the guy but you will need to take extra care in handling the next succeeding words that will be coming out from his mouth. the question is quite vague.. but in general if your the kind type of girl you may resort to forgive, or keep away from tears... it would be better to accept it as truth and keep away than to treat it as lie and pour tears and possibly destroy friendship.

have a nice day

If you are certain that he lied to you, then just come right out and say it. For example...You found out that your boyfriend lied to you about where he was. "Joe, earlier you said that you were at Justin's house. You lied to me. Mary saw you with some girl. Would you please not only explain who the girl was, but why you felt the need to lie to me"

If you're not so sure, then tell him that you have a "feeling" that he's not being completely honest with you. And see how he reacts to that and what he says.

Good luck, and try to give him the benefit of doubt unles you have solid proof.

First of all you should be absolutely sure that he is lying. Then you have to be careful not to put to much effort into telling him, this is a moment when he should meet you half way. But if honesty is really important between the two of you, you can expand on that a while first and then say something like, "I know that you lied about ______."

Catch him in the lie, I thinks it's a great way to let him know that you are on to him and to stop the bull**** already. Sometimes they lie just because they can, and also assuming that you are that slow. Pull his card and tell him if he lies again you will pinch his lip, hehe. If it is a bad lie that you can't handle then dump his lying a** to the curb.

Dump them. Stop talking to them and avoid them.

I would say "That's not what I hear" or "That's not the way I understand it"
"well if you're just going to stand there and lie to me I think I'll find something better to do or someone better to hang out with"

That's what I'd say. Then go find a nice boy...one that doesn't lie.

Not that it's justified for anyone to lie to anyone else... but that's life. Move on. Just don't trust him again but don't get hung-up on the fact that "you were lied to..." It's probably not going to be the last time and it would be my guess that you've lied to him, anyway.

talking things over would be the best solution for you to find out the reason behind his lies...
sometimes we lie for an excuse...
so, i guess he deserves more than just dumping him like some kind of a hot potato...
ask him to explain and be open so to keep your relationship healthy

let them know you know they lied, and ask him why he thinks he has to lie to you in the first place, he is obviously hiding some kind of truth from you, if he cant answer you then he is just not worth the time to find out why.
