I know it is silly to ask you something you know nothing about yet I am sure someone will answer me with a long drawn out romantic story.

For a long time, I found myself in the same situation. I told my girlfriend that i loved her more than she loved me. She, too, was like you, curious as to whether or not that was possible, and inquiring as to why i said that . Basically, in my case, it was because i was putting so much effort and sacrifice into our relationship to keep us together, and she was putting hardly any effort in. She even told me that she survived her entire life without me, and that she could survive the rest of her life without me as well, so she was just going to let happen what happened with us, without having to worry so much. I was distraught, even to the point of giving up; but i didn't, and i am even happier today than ever because, at long last, she came around, and we now love each other close to equally. It is possible to have one person in a relationship love more than another. I think that it is so because the one who loves less either takes the other for granted, is afraid to love that person, or that one person falls in love more easily and quickly than the other, and it will take time (as in my relationship, for example) for the other person to come around and truly start to accept love and the idea of being in love.

She probably feels like she is putting a lot more into the relationship than you are and it is hard for some girls to believe that their bf's actually love them. It was hard for me at first just because I had been in a lot of crappy relationships and he is the first guy to take care of me and actually show his love.
Do something extra special for her to show her that you do love her as much as she loves you.
