I've been dating this amazing guy for a month. Both of our birthdays are in July (he'll be 35 and I'll be 28) and I want to get him something that says I'm into him but not obsessed with him. Something that says I'm open to a future with him but I'm not running out to buy a gown. He's into body building and camping, he's a video gamer and a 5 year old at heart. I'd like to keep my budget down to $50 for a smaller gift or up to $150 for one nice whopper of a gift. Any suggestions?

go to thinkgeek.com....you might find something there, if he's like a 5 yr old. and likes geeky stuff.

What about tickets to a sporting event - like a ball game? Minor league baseball is in many cities and they're often more fun (and definitely more affordable) than big-league games. Take him to dinner before or after the game.

This way, it's low-key and doesn't put any expectations on anyone. It can be viewed as a fun date-type thing too.

My other suggestion would be - what about a day at an amusement park or carnival? $150 could go kinda far - and again, it'd be a low-key datey thing that will appeal to the 5 year old in him.

Perhaps something he could use for his hobbies...like any camping equipment, or something he could use for body building (maybe he needs a new weight lifting belt or something). Are there any video games he'd like but doesn't yet own? You could get him a bunch of those. I'd stay on the more conservative side of things. It's only been a month and that's a relatively short amount of time to be together. Keep it simple and get a simple card to go with whatever gift you choose and that should do it.

How about a gift card? Does not say anything except I know what you like and I want to do something for your birthday. The amount of $50 is a good amount not too much but not too little (unless you are a doctor or lawyer bringing in big bucks) so he shouldn't get any ideas one way or the other.

Now the real question is what if he doesn't get you anything or what if he gets you something real big?????

Well you could go to Best Buy and look for something nice for him. You could also go to Walmart or a camping goods store and go get him a cheap but nice tent, some other camping essentials; then you could rent a camping site and surprise him with it.

inspite of comes out of your coronary heart, he's conscious you want him, on the be conscious on being pokai, how did that got here about in case you do not recommendations me asking? In those harsh cases, you need to ought to plot ahead a lot extra and also you do pick to save like 10% of your pay in case of emergencies. you're already 31 years old! you pick to save, you're not any further getting any youthful and also you need to save on your golden years. maximum Malaysians (shockingly) do no longer plan for his or her retirement (or careless planning, no longer making an allowance for of increasing expenditures over the years), some housewives do not actually have plans might want to some thing ensue to their husbands and what about the little ones? in case you do not plan heavily, you may finally end up loaning money from loan sharks and that ought to finally end up being in a detrimental highway... in case you've been on your early 20s, i does no longer be typing all of this yet you're already on your 30s and shortly it is going to hit the 40 mark and then the 50 mark.

I agree with the first answer. Something really small will probably make you seems cheap, but dinner is a nice thing to do and you'll have fun. Plus, he might not like the gift you get him, but dinner is just dinner, it's not risky.

The best thing for a gift would proabally be a CD or music of some sort, because everyone can relate to music in one way or another. Its the way to anyone's soul, if you can find the right music.

GET A SLEEPING BAG FOR YOURSELF and give him a homemade ticket to go camping with you whenever he wants! Present the ticket to him over dinner at CASUAL Dining restaurant (No Morton's or Ruth's SteakHouse).

Take him out to dinner. You've only been together a month. Any gift will make you seem obsessed. Take him to his favorite restaurant, but keep it casual.

you've only been dating a month and your willing to spend $150???!!!

guess i'm just broke but that seems like a lot for that little of a relationship

you can do something simple, meaningful, and sweet for a lot less money.
